Tim’s Top Links – 4/29/19
It was a big weekend for a lot of TV/movie fans with the Avengers movie premiering, and an epic episode of Game of Thrones airing last night.
I personally find it disappointing when people who are fans of shows/movies just immediately criticize something after seeing it. It makes me sad that some people can’t just enjoy something for what it is!

Tim’s Top Links – 4/26/19
The NFL Draft really is an interesting event every year. The sentiment surrounding so many draft picks is extremely polarizing, and realistically unwarranted given the players have yet to touch an NFL field.
It’ll be interesting to watch which “sure things” and which “bad picks” turn out to be quite the opposite!

Another Thursday is upon us, so that means another awesome episode of the podcast has dropped! Check it out below.
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
066 – Brent Beshore – adventur.es
In Ep. 66 of the show, Tim talks with Brent Beshore. Brent is the CEO and founder of adventur.es – a private equity firm that partners with primarily family-owned businesses to provide a good long-term home for the company. They discuss some of the firm’s philosophies, their “no asshole” policy, and some of Brent’s personal beliefs about serving others. Brent likes to view people as the ends instead of the means, and not the other way around. They discuss Brent’s new book “The Messy Marketplace” and so much more!
