This line from a light-hearted comedy has turned into a seriously deep quote about life.  Today I wanted to share what this quote means to me.

Life is happening right now.  Look around.  These moments will never happen again.  We only have one life, and we don’t know how long it’s going to last.

When I started the Living With Money podcast, I really wanted to hear everybody’s individual story.  Every person on this planet is unique.  Everyone has different stories.  Everyone has different experiences.  No two people are the exact same.

When I first settled on the name for this website ‘Living With Money’, it was kind of an arbitrary name.  It was broad enough for me to talk about a number of different topics, while still having some sort of focus.

Lately, I’ve found myself thinking more in depth about the name, and what it truly means to live with money, so I wanted to flesh it all out for you.

In a world consumed by social media and comparing oneself to the rest of the world, it’s easy to fall victim to the game of trying to constantly portray success.

I am very happy to announce that this past month, August, was the first month that Living With Money surpassed the 1,000 download mark in a month!  We’ve had a great string of guests these last handful of weeks, and I’m very proud and grateful to see the downloads increasing steadily.

We plan on working even harder in the coming months to keep these monthly download numbers rising by bringing you even better content and better guests on a weekly basis.

This podcast has been a learning experience for me, and I truly hope everybody listening has gotten as much out of the episodes as I am!

Welcome to Living With Money!

Through blog posts and weekly podcasts, Living With Money is aimed to promote financial literacy and help everyday people feel comfortable with their money.

So many personal finance topics that should be taught throughout high school and college are lost, and people leave school with no solid foundation in terms of managing their finances.

Our goal is to better educate the public on topics like the importance of budgeting, responsibly managing credit, analyzing your monthly cash inflows and outflows, saving for retirement, how to start investing, having an emergency fund, the basics of taxes, good debt vs. bad debt, and how to start getting your financial life on the right track.
