On today’s episode, Tim talks with Paul Mecurio. Paul began his career as a mergers and acquisitions lawyer on Wall Street before becoming a stand-up comedian. Paul has written jokes for Jay Leno, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Paul has won an Emmy and a Peabody award, and has a renowned podcast featuring guests like Sir Paul McCartney, Bob Costas, Bryan Cranston & more!

We focus on Paul’s off-Broadway, one-man show “Paul Mecurio’s Permission To Speak”. The show is currently running at The Actors’ Temple Theatre on West 47th Street in NYC (see below for ticket information!). The show has Paul interacting with guests on a nightly basis, allowing the guests to tell their life stories, laugh and really connect with one another. Paul shares some truly unique stories he’s heard during the show, and how no two shows are ever the same!
