The Super Bowl is finally all set! And we have (arguably) the best two teams in the NFL playing. The Chiefs and the 49ers came into this year as two favorites to make the big game, and they did. Like with investing, sometimes it actually makes the most sense to just bet on the winners to keep winning.
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
‘Six Things to Know About All-Time Highs’ – Ryan Detrick – Carson Group
- It took a long time, but the markets are back at (or just below depending on the index) all-time high levels. How should you view markets at this point? How do you invest when markets are at all-time highs? Ryan talks about six important things to know.
- Last year the problem for the Fed was high inflation rates, so they raised interest rates. This year, it may be the opposite. With inflation rates falling, the REAL interest rates are rising and leaving the Fed with a decision to cut rates back down or not.
- Every new generation is “soft” and every older generation had it “easy” according to everybody, ever. But how does this generation of young people actually stack up versus older generations? Ben takes a look at that in this latest post.
‘Forget a Soft Landing, There May Be No Landing’ – Jessica Dickler – CNBC
- The Fed had been cautiously trying to have the economy perform a “soft landing”, but with inflation rates falling and the economy still very strong, economists are starting to think there just be “no landing” at all.
ENJOY!
