Every week over on the Mullooly Asset Management website, THREE new pieces of content are published. From our blog posts, videos, and podcasts, there is no shortage of valuable, timely content from us. Be sure to check it out.
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
‘It’s Never Too Late to Change’ – Nick Maggiulli – Of Dollars and Data
- Nick gets away from the numbers this week, and tells a personal story of how his grandfather quit smoking after 62 years recently. It’s a reminder that no matter how old you get, it’s never too late to change a habit.
‘Why 0% Interest Rates Make Zero Sense’ – Charlie Bilello – Compound Advisors
- Interest rates have been near zero for quite a while now, and Charlie outlines in his latest post why that makes little sense. He uses a handful of important economic data points and charts to really drive the point home.
‘Social Security Cost-of-Living-Adjustment Will Be 5.9% in 2022’ – Lorie Konish – CNBC
- For all the worrying folks seem to do about the state of Social Security, for those collecting at the moment this seems pretty nice. The article details how the increase will be the highest beneficiaries have seen in 40 years.
‘Why Millennial Parents Won’t Drive a Minivan’ – Ben Carlson – A Wealth of Common Sense
- Despite what the headline says, Ben actually makes a pretty GOOD case for driving a minivan in this post. He walks through the numbers on some of the massive SUV’s hitting the market these days compared to the minivan alternative.
