Have you been keeping up with the new episodes of the Mullooly Asset Show? Casey published another awesome episode last week that you NEED to check out. Click here to watch all of our videos on YouTube.
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
‘This Year Could Have Been Worse for Investors’ – Ben Carlson – A Wealth of Common Sense
- There’s no denying that this year has been difficult for investors everywhere. However, when given the context of the different factors causing such a tough year, Ben comes to the conclusion that it actually could have been much worse.
‘Who Will You Become?’ – John Goodell – Humble Dollar
- Financial planning is actually a lot of guess work. We don’t know exactly what our future selves will want or need decades from now. This is the main idea behind John’s article. He discusses how to try and plan your life so you don’t look back on it with regret down the road.
- A lot to cover in one article, but Ben shares his thoughts on a number of different topics as the title suggests. A handful of useful charts help Ben to illustrate his points along the way.
‘Men Participate Less in 401(k) Plans Than Women Unless Auto-Enrolled’ – Sarah O’Brien – CNBC
- The headline here doesn’t really surprise me too much. Women seem to plan for the long-term better than men, and this article suggests that very point. This article also addresses a new bill in the House that could help both men and women save more.
ENJOY!
