Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs on the Super Bowl victory last night! It was a very solid game, but nothing TOO dramatic or crazy happened. Just good old fashioned football.
And now we’re only a few days away from pitchers and catchers reporting to Spring Training!
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
‘When Does the Federal Deficit Matter?’ – Ben Carlson – A Wealth of Common Sense
- Every year it seems like we worry about the federal deficit, and every year it increases. Will it ever actually matter? Ben writes about this in his latest post.
‘Snowboarding & Financial Planning’ – Maureen Wright – The Financial Fashion Planner
- Maureen tells the story of how she got into snowboarding, and the similarities she’s found between snowboarding and financial planning.
‘How to Avoid Lifestyle Creep’ – Mullooly Asset Podcast
- In Ep. 293 of the show, Brendan and Tom discuss how to not let your spending increase too much when you get a raise, and much more!
‘The Stock Got Crushed. Then the ETFs Had to Sell’ – Jason Zweig – Wall Street Journal
- Jason tells the tale of a beaten down stock and how it affected some ETFs. It’s a story to show the importance for indexers to know what they own.
ENJOY!
