March Madness is officially upon us! The best 4-day stretch of basketball games of the year is here. For some reason that I cannot pinpoint, I do not like Duke, but this year it looks like they might be destined to win it all. I have to admit, that Zion kid is fun to watch!
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
‘The Easiest Decade for DIY Investors’ – Blair duQuesnay – The Belle Curve
- As Blair puts it, investing is hard and it doesn’t get easier with time or experience. Blair outlines how good the market has been since the bottom in 2008-09.
‘In Defense of Complexity’ – Phil Huber – BPs and Pieces
- Phil talks about how complex some of the technology is behind the scenes that allows us investors to keep things ‘simple’. “Simple is impossible without complex”.
- Utilizing Medicare is almost always a very important topic for the person using it. In this video, Ashby and Justin talk about mistakes to avoid when dealing with Medicare.
‘Dominic Smith, the Mets’ Sleeper at First Base’ – The New York Times
- Smith was one of the Mets highest rated prospects, but struggled with sleep apnea last season and it hurt his on-field performance. Now having fixed his sleeping issues, he looks to bounce back this year.
ENJOY!
