Today is the first day of Spring 2023. We’ve made it through another winter! The first winter in a while that I can remember us not getting any significant snow here in Monmouth County, NJ. Now that I’ve said that, it’ll almost certainly snow in the coming days…
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
‘What are the Worst Investments During Inflation?’ – Mullooly Asset Podcast
- What are the worst investments during inflation? The answer may surprise you. In our podcast this week, we discuss how there has been a rush to create and bring to the market many inflation-related products on Wall Street. Wall Street tends to capitalize on cranking out products tied to the new “hot investment theme” of the day.
‘What Should You Do With Your Old 401(k)?’ – Mullooly Asset Show
- We know that your old 401(k) account probably isn’t top of mind when changing jobs. But don’t lose track of it because every dollar counts. Employers and retirement plan providers tend to make your options unclear. So in this week’s video, Casey covers 4 different options you have for that old 401(k) account.
‘Volatility is Nothing New’ – Ben Carlson – A Wealth of Common Sense
- We’ve seen some real volatility in the markets, and in yields, over the last few weeks. It seems like these things don’t happen all that often, but Ben writes in this post about how volatility like this happens more than you think.
‘Whose Fault is it Anyway?’ – Michael Batnick – The Irrelevant Investor
- It had been almost 900 days since the last bank failed in the US. After the Silicon Valley Bank collapse last week, we started the streak over at zero days. So whose fault was it that these banks went down? Michael takes a look in this post.
ENJOY!
