The thing about volatility is that it works both ways. After weeks of up and down action, we saw another HUGE upswing yesterday in the Dow rising 11.37%. The Dow had a great YEAR yesterday alone.
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
‘Managing Credit Card Debt’ – Maureen Wright – The Financial Fashion Planner
- Credit card debt is a serious problem for a lot of people. Maureen gives a great in-depth analysis of how you can work your way out of debt one step at a time.
‘Two Things Can Be True at Once’ – Morgan Housel – Collaborative Fund
- “How are you holding up?” is the common questions nowadays, and Morgan writes about why two answers to that can be true at the same time.
‘Different This Time’ – William Ehart – Humble Dollar
- There were a lot of lessons learned for investors in 2008. This article outlines how William is approaching this market decline in a different manner.
‘What is Happening in the Stock Market?’ – Michael Batnick – The Irrelevant Investor
- The volatility in the market right now, as Michael puts it, is “dizzying”. Michael puts that into perspective by looking at the best and worst days the market has seen.
ENJOY!
