March is a funny time here in New Jersey (and likely the rest of the northeast). I like to call it “fake spring”. There are usually a few days over 50 degrees and sunny, and everyone gets super excited and thinks it’s summer! Only to have a 30 degree, rainy streak come the next week. I only make this observation today because this week has been a REAL example of “fake spring”. Anyways, here’s to warmer weather!
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
- The housing market has been booming, coupled with low mortgage rates lately. But is homeownership for everyone? In our latest blog post we outline a few advantages and disadvantages of owning your own home.
- As Michael points out in the beginning of his post, sure there are probably a handful of ways to prove otherwise. However, he uses the 2020 stock market as an example of how the stock market is usually right, even if we don’t realize it at the time.
- It’s been a pretty easy ride for bond investors looking back over the recent decades, but Ben illustrates why moving forward it will be more difficult.
- Real estate has been an interesting area for the last year. This article takes a look at what you should consider when determining if you should potentially relocate or just renovate your current home.
