Wrapping up a beautiful week here in New Jersey with some great links this morning! It has completely bypassed spring, and went straight to summer weather this week. The reversion back to 50-60 degree days will be most unwelcomed next week.
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
- So, are your IRA contributions tax-deductible? In this week’s video, Tom discusses the choice (the decision) you need to make regarding whether to put money into an IRA, or not. Tom walks through numbers you should know when it comes to whether your IRA contribution will be deductible, or not.
- We’re all constantly chasing that elusive feeling of happiness. Morgan writes about what makes people happy in this post, and how it’s often times is the difference between what you have now and what you were just doing.
- Simple, yet effective, changes have been made to workplace retirement plans over the years, and seem to be helping investors behave better with their retirement savings. Barry writes about auto-enrollment and target-date funds in this post.
- Mental accounting can be a useful, but tricky tool for investors. Ben writes about the benefits of mental accounting when it comes to your overall investment portfolio in this post.
