Now that Tax Day has come and passed, hopefully everyone knows if they will be getting money back or owing money to the government. Regardless, it’s a good time to examine your withholding and make adjustments if necessary.
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
‘Tax Refunds – The Ultimate Behavioral Finance Lesson’ – Blair duQuesnay – The Belle Curve
- Many Americans were expecting larger refund checks this year, but instead they’ve been getting their tax savings in their paychecks the whole time.
‘Finding Your Investing Edge’ – Ashby Daniels – Retirement Field Guide
- Ashby continues his poker metaphors, and this time talks about how you might be able to find an edge over certain fund managers.
‘The Will to Survive’ – Nick Maggiulli – Of Dollars and Data
- In the world of investing, you don’t need to be bold. You just need to survive. Nick talks about mass extinctions on Earth, and massive drawdowns in the market.
‘Tell Him “No Thanks”‘ – Douglas A. Boneparth – Bone Fide Wealth
- If you have something in life you’re passionate about, and can make money doing, follow that path! It’s truly special.
ENJOY!
