It’s a new month, so that means a new reminder to check out the Mullooly Asset Management YouTube channel! We have close to 300 videos for you to watch and catch up on, so don’t wait any longer!
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
‘Federal Reserve’s Portfolio Runoff Has Begun’ – Nick Timiraos – The Wall Street Journal
- For months now, most people have been hyper-focused on the Fed. However, they’ve been fixating on their decision and timing to raise interest rates. This article talks about another action the Fed is taking to try and fight inflation.
‘54% of Teens Feel Unprepared to Finance Their Futures’ – Carmen Reinicke – CNBC
- If I’m being honest, I thought a number like this would be HIGHER. This article discusses the rising costs of higher education, and how the next generation of students feel less and less prepared for those costs.
- Similar to the post linked above, this post discusses the action of the Federal Reserve. Some investors might think that the Fed finally has their game plan under control, but this post discusses why that might not be the case just yet.
‘What if This is a Big Regime Shift in the Markets?’ – Ben Carlson – A Wealth of Common Sense
- Tough times in the market tend to make investors think BIG. This article discusses the idea that stocks *might* be getting into a difficult prolonged period where they struggle to outperform, but Ben writes about why it doesn’t mean the end of the world for investors.
ENJOY!
