If you missed this week’s new podcast episode with author Kerry Hannon, you can still go listen to it here! Enjoy the weekend!
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
‘The Investor’s High’ – Brendan Mullooly – Your Brain on Stocks
- Similar to a runner’s high, an investor experiences the same thing. However, the negative effects of too much running/investing don’t often show themselves fast enough.
‘Sometimes the Best Returns Come From CEOs You’ve Never Heard Of’ – Josh Brown – CNBC
- Everyone knows Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, but Josh explains why some of the best companies have CEOs whose names you wouldn’t recognize.
‘We Don’t Have to Have a Recession’ – C. Thomas Howard – Think Advisor
- The news seems to be sure there is a recession on the horizon, but the author writes there doesn’t seem to be a ‘natural’ reason present for that to be the case.
‘Why History Gets Stuff Wrong All the Time’ – Ben Carlson – A Wealth of Common Sense
- Sure there are history books written about the past, but Ben writes about huge moments in time where things weren’t exactly as portrayed in the history books.
ENJOY!
