Today is the last day of my 20’s, so let’s all make it a good one! The only thing I wish for in my 30’s is low inflation and great market returns! Kidding, I’d wish something a little more personal (although it wouldn’t be the worst birthday gift, am I right?) Anyways, let’s have a great week.
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
‘2 Different Ways to Spend Money in Retirement’ – Casey Mullooly – Mullooly Asset Show
- Should you spend conservatively because of the unknown factors retirees face? OR! Should you spend your hard earned money while you are healthy and can enjoy it most? Tune in to find out the risks and rewards of both.
‘When is a Bear Market Over?’ – Ben Carlson – A Wealth of Common Sense
- Markets have tumbled into a bear market here in 2022, but have since rallied a substantial amount over the last 2 months. When exactly can we say that a bear market is over? Ben breaks it down in this post. Check it out.
‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting in the Stock Market’ – Ben Carlson – A Wealth of Common Sense
- Expectations vs reality is a huge part of life. Whether it’s in our personal lives, or in the market, the expectations we have for something will help determine how we view what happens in real life. Ben talks about this phenomenon and how it impacts markets in his post.
‘Investors Bet Yet Again That Inflation Will Cool’ – Matt Grossman – The Wall Street Journal
- Similar to Ben’s point from above, the expectations of inflation are shaping how investors bet with or against the market. This article talks about the bets investors are making that inflation is going to continue to cool off.
ENJOY!
