As much as the perma-bears want to celebrate the fact that the market took a big hit on Friday, it remains to be seen if the recent rally is actually over or not. And for the folks who thought the drop was over and we’d go straight back to all-time highs, not so fast!
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
‘What Can I Expect My Investments to Return?’ – Mullooly Asset Podcast
- In this week’s podcast, Tom, Brendan, Tim AND Casey weigh in on the best way to set investment performance expectations, the difference between average returns, and returns used in planning calculations.
- As usual, we can count on Ben to have a rational, level-headed thought process when it comes to student loan forgiveness. He shares some things he likes and doesn’t like about it all.
‘Why We Collect’ – Jonathan Clements – Humble Dollar
- People like to collect things. In this post, Jonathan discusses why we like to collect different things, and if starting a collection can be a good or bad thing depending on how over the top it gets.
‘Fewer Americans Live Paycheck to Paycheck as Inflation Starts to Ease’ – Jessica Dickler – CNBC
- It’s nice to see articles like this, as the beginning of the year was filled with articles saying the opposite. Although inflation is still relatively high, people are beginning to feel the easing of inflation in certain areas.
ENJOY!
