So, how about that market yesterday? Volatility sure does keep things interesting on a day to day basis. Like Forest Gump said, that’s all I have to say about that.
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
‘Two Phils, One Pod’ – Phil Huber – BPs and Pieces
- Phil shares a podcast he recorded with Phil Bak of Exponential ETFs where they discuss some of Huber’s blogs, his views on investing, and social media.
‘Why the Stock Market Must Go Down’ – Josh Brown – The Reformed Broker
- In the midst of a large down day, Josh penned a wonderful reminder what the market would be like if stocks NEVER went down.
‘How I Think of the Stock Market During its Ups and Downs’ – Cullen Roche – Pragmatic Capitalism
- In a perfect world, the stock market would spit out the average return each year, but we know that doesn’t happen. Cullen writes about his view of the market, especially during volatile times.
‘Yuan Redux’ – Michael Batnick – The Irrelevant Investor
- Michael revisits the last time China de-valued its currency, what happened to the market, and why it’s a big deal.
ENJOY!
