Here we go into September! Around here at the Jersey Shore, we refer to September as ‘Local Summer’. It’s the time after Labor Day when tourists return home and the locals here get to enjoy one more month of great beach town weather.
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
‘Should I Put My Assets Into a Trust?’ – Mullooly Asset Show
- A common question we get from folks is whether or not they should put their assets into a trust. We are not attorneys, therefore we don’t give legal advice. But we’re well versed in the different layers of making decisions like this and are more than willing to walk through all the angles and point folks in the right direction.
‘Fight the FOMO’- Michael Batnick – The Irrelevant Investor
- In finance, the feeling that “everyone else besides me is getting rich” can be VERY real. Especially in a year like this. Michael discusses the FOMO that comes with NFT’s, crypto, and more. It’s important to remember that things don’t just go straight up.
‘How to Escape Your Financial Cocoon’ – Tony Isola – A Teachable Moment
- Humans have this problem where we believe that the individual experiences that happen to us ARE reality. Tony writes in this article how important it is for us to shake off our past experiences and fears to emerge from our financial cocoons.
‘Seeing Visions’ – Jonathan Clements – Humble Dollar
- Plenty of us technically *know* the way to financial success, but don’t act on it. Save more, spend less, and buy what makes us happy. Jonathan writes about how visualization may help us snap out of these bad habits.
ENJOY!
