Great news for Mets fans everywhere last night: the reign of terror from the Wilpon family is OVER. Billionaire Steve Cohen agreed to terms to buy the franchise yesterday, and this deal will make him the richest owner in the MLB. It’s honestly going to be a little strange having an owner with deep pockets. HOPEFULLY this is a turning point for the franchise!
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
- Sometimes you need to go back to basics. In our latest blog post, we outline some of the key differences between Roth IRA’s and traditional IRA’s. It mainly circles around one key question: when do you want to pay tax on that money?
- One way to help yourself on your way to financial success is to buy income-producing assets. Most people default to strictly stocks and bonds, but Nick outlines 7 other assets that can help increase your income.
- It has certainly been a strange year with plenty of unanswered questions. Ben thinks out loud in his latest post about 4 questions currently on his mind. Has being optimistic about the future become a contrarian thought?
- Preceding the release of the like-titled book in November, Ashby shares his personal contribution to the book in his latest post. He outlines exactly how he invests his own money. This is something more and more advisors should do in the spirit of transparency.
