Today marks the official end of Summer 2020. In some ways it never really felt like summer started at all, but in other ways fall seems like it’s right on schedule. In any regard, we have some great posts to start your week off on the right foot!
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
‘How Interest Rates Impact Investments’ – Mullooly Asset Podcast
- It’s no secret that interest rates are historically low, but does that mean you should ditch your fixed income/cash savings to pile into stocks? In last week’s podcast, I discussed with Brendan about why you may want to rethink that strategy.
‘Ideas for Retirement’ – Michael Batnick – The Irrelevant Investor
- Michael and Ben did an episode of their podcast, Animal Spirits, strictly on retirement. Michael decided to share some of the great feedback they received from the episode in his latest post. It’s definitely worth checking out.
‘My Regrets’ – Jonathan Clements – Humble Dollar
- In his latest post, Jonathan outlines some of the regrets he has over his financial, and personal, life. They’re not the usual short-term investment decision regrets that most people have.
- Picking the right advisor is a very important decision for an individual, but that doesn’t mean it needs to be overly complicated. This article outlines five important, but rather basic, questions to ask before picking your advisor.
ENJOY!
