Whether you’re investing, or playing in an NFL survivor pool, track record only gets you so far. Eventually you have to “play the game”.
I write this as I was eliminated, along with A LOT of others, from my survivor pool yesterday when the LA Rams lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A large favorite, the Rams just dropped the ball. That’s why you play the game!
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
‘Human Advisors are (Still) Needed’ – Tom Mullooly – The Human Advisor
- According to some new statistics, people are wanting MORE face-to-face time as opposed to less, and Tom writes about why human advisors won’t go out of style.
‘Project One Question: Wealth/Stack’ – Justin Castelli – All About Your Benjamins
- Justin caught up w/ a handful of advisors at the WealthStack conference to ask them an important life question. Check it out, and ask yourself the same thing!
‘Will I Pay Taxes on My Inheritance?’ – Rockie Ziegler
- The short answer to a question advisors get asked a lot: it depends. Rockie breaks down some of the different factors that play into the outcome.
‘From Best to Worst’ – Michael Batnick – The Irrelevant Investor
- Michael writes about a changing of the guard in stocks in the past month. It’s interesting watching certain stocks ebb and flow on the performance scale.
ENJOY!
