Labor Day 2021 has come and gone, now it’s back to school for kids and back to work for anybody who has been laying low for the summer. It’s also a great time to do a quick personal audit on your finances!
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
- The stock market (as measured by the S&P 500) has hit a new high in every month so far this year. But when you look under the hood, the average stock isn’t doing as well. In this week’s podcast, the guys dive into how an index like the S&P 500 can be pulled forward by just a few stocks.
- Being in the finance industry, we often write/discuss how money impacts our happiness and overall life experience. However, in this post, Nick writes about what REALLY helps predict an individual’s level of happiness.
- We have written and discussed both the upsides and the downsides of using leverage in your investments. Charlie writes about what has happened recently pairing leverage with one of the best uptrends we’ve ever seen.
- Cryptocurrency, bitcoin, and blockchain have been around for years, but recently it seems like things are moving quicker than ever. Michael writes about how these new technologies can change the world as we know it.
