It’s time for your weekly reminder to go subscribe to the Mullooly Asset Management YouTube channel! Every week we publish a new, short video discussing a different topic in the financial world. From personal finance, to investing, to the economy, we cover it all.
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
- When it comes to saving for retirement, the power of compound interest should never be underestimated. With that in mind, we wanted to share a “rule” to help folks determine how long it will take for that compound interest to kick in.
- If solving all of our financial problems was easy, everyone would have done it by now! Richard writes about a handful of ways that people “take chances” when it comes to finding the solution to their problems. Do they work? The jury is still out.
- Ask anybody on the street their thoughts on the housing market and you’ll hear “it’s crazy” and “it has to cool off at some point”. It’s no surprise housing prices are up, but Ben writes about why these higher prices aren’t as crazy as we all may think.
- Having a 401(k) through your job is a really great advantage when it comes to saving for retirement. However, not everybody has one. This article outlines different ways to save for retirement without a 401(k).
