It’s easy to preach about behavioral biases, avoiding emotional decisions, and staying the course when the market is rising. The last few weeks have really put investors and advisors to the test and shown some true colors. Time to practice what we preach!

It’s been another week of exhausting volatility in the market. For all of the major upswings and downswings, we could wind up finishing the week relatively flat. Go figure.

Bryan also blogs over at MillennialPlanners.com, and they discuss how Bryan got started in the financial planning industry, the importance of the CFP designation, and much more. They talk about how financial planning firms can retain their young employees and grow even bigger, and how identifying client needs is paramount to retaining your clients for the long-term.
Yesterday, the Fed made a “surprise” interest rate cut and the market didn’t react the way people expected. In the latest edition of the Mullooly Asset Show, Tom addressed this latest rate cut and what it means for the economy and your portfolio.
