Today marks the official end of Summer 2020. In some ways it never really felt like summer started at all, but in other ways fall seems like it’s right on schedule. In any regard, we have some great posts to start your week off on the right foot!

The CARES Act has made it possible for some people to be able to take early distributions from their retirement plans without penalty. While this can be very useful for some people, there still is a qualifying factor to it. All individuals taking distributions MUST self-certify that they have been adversely impacted by COVID-19. Don’t overlook that fact.

Great news for Mets fans everywhere last night: the reign of terror from the Wilpon family is OVER. Billionaire Steve Cohen agreed to terms to buy the franchise yesterday, and this deal will make him the richest owner in the MLB. It’s honestly going to be a little strange having an owner with deep pockets. HOPEFULLY this is a turning point for the franchise!
